Stephanie command, senior associate
Stephanie Command is a trial and appellate litigator with frontline experience on the plaintiff and defense side. She has secured victories for her clients at trial and on appeal in dozens of cases. Stephanie specializes in litigating on behalf of and advising clients in highly regulated industries. She has represented clients in, among others, the entertainment industry, the banking industry, and in politics.
Prior to joining Sullivan & Triggs, Stephanie was an associate at Perkins Coie where she represented nonprofits, political parties, and political candidates in litigation and administrative proceedings, including in matters before numerous state and federal courts across the country, often proceeding on accelerated timelines. For example, Stephanie was part of trial and appellate teams that successfully defended President Biden’s victory against the Trump campaign’s attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. Stephanie’s practice has encompassed all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, fact and expert depositions, motion practice, trial practice, and oral argument.
After graduating magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from Cornell Law School, Stephanie clerked for Chief Judge Frank P. Geraci in the Western District of New York, and for Judge Stephanie Thacker on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
Stephanie resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her cat and dog, and maintains an office in Washington, D.C.
